Tyseley based Halls 4965 Rood Ashton Hall and 4936 Kinlet Hall at Nuneaton after
arrival with Vintage Trains "City Express" service from Paddingtonvia Bristol
which included a record braking ascent of the Lickey Bank. 4965 carries Union
flags and a wreath in memory of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Sat 6 April 2002.

The charter from Ashford to Bristol was hauled by 5029 from Willesden Junction to Bristol via the Berks and Hants and Trowbridge, returning as far as Acton Yard via Swindon. It was notable for very lively running in both directions. | ||
