This celebrated the exploits of 3440 100 years and 1 day previously whn it was reputed to have reached 102mph near Wellington on a Plymouth-Paddington (via Bristol) Ocean Meail special.    5029 at Temple Meads Saturday 5 May 2001   
GWR 4-6-0 no 5029 Nunney Castle running around its train at Bristol Temple Meads. The charter from Ashford to Bristol was hauled by 5029 from Willesden Junction to Bristol via the Berks and Hants and Trowbridge, returning as far as Acton Yard via Swindon. It was notable for very lively running in both directions.

The Train ran from Alton via Havant and Southampton to Weymouth and was then diesel hauled to Yeovil by Class 33 diesel D6525, were 34016 is seen about to depart for Salisbury, Basingstoke, Reading and back to Guildford and Alton.
